I decided to revive my blog as my husband and mother has encouraged me to start writing about my pregnancy so I can show my future offspring what I have been doing since her conception.
- I first heard her heart beat at 123 BPM at 6 weeks. I was joyous. we have been waiting for more than a year to get pregnant and here you are. I was complaining of nausea and vomiting and my doctor jokingly told me: “congratulations! you’re pregnant! *wink*” I was speechless.I have a good poker face and I was celebrating quietly in the ultrasound bed. your father, seems speechless but I think he was a bit dazed for the upcoming bar exam.
- Week 7, you were a size of a blueberry. I heard your heartbeat again. I was nauseous and vomiting and I lost 6 pounds so I had another visit with with the OB. you’re growing stronger and getting bigger. it made all the pregnancy symptoms bearable seeing you forming better.
- at week 9, I have been able to keep my weight stable, taking some medications even if I am doing my best not to take it all the time as I don’t want to drug you. your heart beat is stronger at 178. while doing the ultrasound, we saw you kick your feet and wave your tiny hands. It made me so happy to see you moving, knowing that you’re developing well. everything I’m going through is worth it.
- I’m currently at week 11 and I won’t be seeing you again until week 13. but until then, I’ll do my best to eat healthier for you.
